Theme: Navigating the Future of Knowledge: Empowering Librarians Amidst Technological, Financial, and Role Transformation for Societal Impact.
Dates: 15 – 19 November 2026
The International Association of University Libraries (IATUL), in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Library, invites librarians, researchers, and thought leaders to submit proposals for the 46th Annual IATUL Conference, to be held in 2026. This annual international gathering will bring together the global library community to critically explore how libraries navigate and innovate amidst the convergence of artificial intelligence, data-informed decision-making, evolving staff roles and HR mandates, and tightening resources.
